RENOVATION & ADDITION
SUPPORTIVE ARCHITECTURE™ IN PRACTICE
SIMPLE HEALTH
The homeowners had lived in their modest Colonial since 1956. They raised their family there, loved their home and neighborhood, and wanted it to continue supporting the life they valued.
Their priorities included an updated kitchen, expanded office, better access to the yard, and an indoor exercise pool. They wanted improvement, not a showpiece.
Those priorities guided the decisions that followed. The pool was placed quietly at the rear. Curved metal roofs marked both the pool and the entry, where the couple met each morning to sit together and plan their day. Elsewhere, the house was simplified and refreshed rather than reinvented.
Each decision respected both how they wanted to live and what they already loved.
