Every year KVD+ enters international design competitions to stretch our understanding of design for disabilities, human senses, and the environment. We come away from these studies with new insight into how we might approach design problems in our immediate practical world. As you read through the content of this project, located in Gilbralter, you will discover an eloquent understanding of a natural phenomena of two wind sources and how they impact the environment of Gilbralter. The result is a simple grafted shelter that creates a living environment while acting as a significant water purifying source in an environment where desalinization is both difficult and and expensive. Enjoy!
